What counts as a generation
A generation is one AI-produced artifact.
Each paid plan includes a monthly pool of generation credits. Credits are spent on the things Job Seeker OS writes for you, not on browsing, scoring, or organizing your search.
Generations are the AI outputs
A tailored CV, a cover letter, a prep doc, or transcript / notes feedback each counts as a generation. These are the expensive, high-value artifacts the system produces.
Heavier artifacts cost more credits
A fully QA-gated tailored CV draws more credits than a short recruiter follow-up. You're paying for the model work, so bigger work uses more of your monthly pool.
Scoring is generous and separate
Scoring a job description to decide whether it's worth your time is cheap, so it's tracked separately and stays generous on paid plans. Triaging roles won't spend your credits.

The product is identical either way. The only difference is who runs the models and who gets billed for the raw usage.
Hosted keys
On the Subscription plan, Job Seeker OS runs the models on our own keys. There's nothing to set up: you just generate. Each generation draws credits from your monthly pool, and your price is fixed and predictable.
Bring your own key
Connect your own Anthropic or Google key and generations are uncapped, and you pay the model provider directly for usage. The workspace, scoring rules, Story bank, and prep pipeline are still part of your plan. Best for very high-volume searches and coaches.
No lock-in
Cancel or pause whenever your search does.
A job search is seasonal, so you shouldn't pay for months you aren't actively searching.
Cancel anytime
No contract and no cancellation call. Cancel from your workspace and you drop to Free at the end of the period, and your data stays with you.
