A missing achievements section gets a second try

When a draft comes back without Selected Achievements, the generator asks again before handing you the resume.

  • When a draft comes back without the Selected Achievements section and you have achievements that fit, the generator asks for it again before the resume reaches you.
Fixed
  • A resume without the Selected Achievements section no longer tells you that too few of your achievements fit when that was not the reason. It now says the draft came back without the section, and that generating again usually brings it back.

Your resume no longer repeats the same line

The Selected Achievements section now opens at two achievements, and when it is left off your resume the page says why.

Fixed
  • A role on your generated resume never prints the same line twice, and never carries more lines than you have on file for it.
Improved
  • The Selected Achievements section appears when two of your achievements fit the job, instead of four.
  • When that section is left off, the resume page says why and links to your achievements. It shows on resumes generated before the explanation existed, too.
  • A section built from entries the model invented is rebuilt once before it is dropped, so it stays whenever your real achievements can fill it.

An opportunity you add is scored right away

Paste a job description into the bar and the opportunity opens with its job match already on the card.

  • An opportunity you add with a job description is scored as it is saved, so its card opens with the job match already on it. One added with names alone opens straight away, and its card offers to score it once a description is there.
  • The button that files a new opportunity reads Create Opportunity.
Fixed
  • A company edit that saved is no longer reported as failed. The change could land while its answer was lost on the way back, and pressing Done again then said someone else had changed the company when nobody had.
  • A resume keeps the employer you made out of the Unsorted group. Renaming that group into a real company and giving it dates used to leave both off the generated resume.

The role and company come from the description you paste

Adding an opportunity opens a panel where every field is optional, and a pasted description fills in the role and company.

  • The Opportunity source link field is gone. A pasted link was saved but never fetched, so the field read as a way to add an opportunity by link. Paste the description text instead; a link on its own stays in the box with a hint, and the button waits for the text.

Add an opportunity from the bar, and put your achievements in order

The + Opportunity button moves into the bar at the top of Opportunities, the composer folds back the way it should, and selected achievements in the resume builder can be dragged into the order you want.

  • The + Opportunity button sits in the bar at the top of Opportunities, beside the field that now reads Add job opportunity, so adding an opportunity by hand and pasting a job description start from the same place. The page header keeps only Install extension.
Fixed
  • The Opportunities composer folds back to the bar again. Escape, Collapse and Clear used to reopen it at once, so an account with an empty list had no way to reach + Opportunity.

A job description you can correct, and an analysis you can order

Edit any opportunity's job description in place and score it again, order a resume analysis from the page that used to be empty, and generated resumes stop inventing an employer called Unsorted.

New
  • The job description on an opportunity is editable in place: click the text, fix or complete it, and it saves when you click away. A truncated or messy capture no longer stays that way.
  • Score again. After an edit, the score card offers to re-run the score against the new text and says when the saved score predates what you changed. Opportunities that were never scored get the same button.
  • The Resume analysis page shows a sample audit and lets you order the real one. The request reaches us as a support message, and we answer there and by email. Before, an account without a consultation saw only a note that the audit would appear after one.
Improved
  • The Job description card now sits above Outreach on the opportunity page. It is what the page is about.
  • The tab on opportunity and application pages reads Company intelligence, matching the card it opens.
Fixed
  • Bullets that onboarding could not attach to an employer no longer appear in a generated resume under a company called Unsorted, and no longer get the whole draft refused.
  • Generate resume no longer gives up on longer resumes with “The model took too long”. The draft gets the time it needs to finish.
  • The free resume checker rejects a malformed email address before you submit (a missing domain, two @ signs, a pasted address in angle brackets) instead of after a round trip.

Six scored parameters and the findings behind them, plus a profile that asks before it removes anything.

New
  • The free resume checker reads your resume the way we do in a consultation: six scored parameters with the findings behind each one, sent to you as a formatted report.
  • If we prepared your resume during a consultation, the audit behind it now sits in the app beside the resume itself.
  • A Resources index that lists every guide in one place.
  • A page explaining what the Chrome extension does: scoring a job from its posting, and filling in an application.
  • Contacts can be marked Inbound, for people who came to you.
Improved
  • Removing anything from your profile asks first. Companies, education, certifications, interests, languages and summaries all confirm before they go.
  • The + Resume menu opens when you click it rather than when the pointer passes over it.
  • Deleting an opportunity dims the row behind the confirmation, so it is clear which one you are removing.
Fixed
  • An achievement whose company you deleted can be edited and saved again. It could not be saved at all before, and the only way out was to attach it to a different employer.
  • Editing a bullet twice in a row works. The second save used to fail and close the editor, losing what you had typed.
  • A tag the catalog will not accept now says why, instead of vanishing as you type it.
  • Answers you give the resume checker are kept when you add more, rather than replacing each other.

Your invitation link keeps working, and a hiccup no longer closes the app

Three ways into a profile prepared for you, and a backend that stumbles no longer takes the whole product with it.

New
  • If someone prepared a profile for you after a consultation, the email now gives you two ways in: the link, and a password. Google on the same address works as a third.
Improved
  • The invitation link no longer expires, and opening it does not use it up. It worked only once before, so a preview in your mail app, a link scanner, or a second tap could spend it before you did.
  • The password in that email stays yours until you change it. Asking for the invitation again sends the same link and leaves the password alone.
Fixed
  • A problem on our side no longer shows you “We could not load your profile”. Signing in with a password or with Google reaches your profile, a session that has ended sends you to sign in rather than to a button that cannot help, and a backend that stumbles lets you into the app while we hear about it.

Your schooling and languages come through from your resume

Setup reads two more things off your resume, and tells you the truth about what it will save.

New
  • Your education comes through when you upload a resume. It used to be dropped no matter what your resume said, and had to be typed in again afterwards.
  • The languages you speak come through too, whether you list them under a heading or across the top of the page. A stated level like C1 or B2 comes with them.
  • Both get their own tab at setup, so you can correct a school or a level before anything is saved.
  • Languages join your Professional Profile, next to Education and Certifications. You can add one with its level, mark yourself fluent, change it later, or remove it.
Fixed
  • The Confirm button at setup counts only what will actually be saved, and the screen names anything it cannot keep, and why. It used to promise a number it did not keep.
  • Skills from a resume in any format now save with the rest.

Sign-in, long resumes and contact linking all work again

Three fixes, each one a place a job seeker could get stopped part-way.

Fixed
  • Signing in reaches the app again. For part of August 22 a mismatch between two halves of a release left every page showing “We could not load your profile”, and the check behind that screen now lets you through instead of holding the whole app.
  • A resume with a lot behind it finishes generating. Long drafts used to stop part-way and come back as an error instead of a finished document.
  • Anyone in your network can be linked to an opportunity, including people with no company on file. On a large network they were missing from the picker altogether.

Your resume opens with proven results

Achievements get their own place in the catalog and open your resume, in both the generated and the manual builder.

New
  • Achievements join your catalog. Write one, or build it from your bullets; the composer asks what changed because of your work instead of writing it for you.
  • A generated resume opens with a Selected Achievements and Impact section: the four to six achievements that best fit the posting, chosen from your catalog and never written for you.
  • The manual builder gets the same section: tick the achievements you want and they open the resume.
  • Uploading a resume during onboarding also finds achievement candidates and shows them for review.
Improved
  • First-run setup opens as a panel over the app and can be reopened from the header.
  • The skills section is called Skills and Expertise, on the catalog page and on generated resumes.
  • A generated resume tells each result once: a bullet already covered by an achievement leaves its role, and a metric you flagged returns if the section carrying it is missing.
  • The achievements card in the catalog is shorter: fewer labels, fewer questions.
Fixed
  • Running out of AI credits shows a clear prompt instead of an error code.
  • A generation no longer fails when the resume tidies up an employer's name.
  • Onboarding summaries keep their line flow instead of arriving hard-wrapped.

Ask for help without leaving the page

A support bubble sits on every screen, and the answer comes back both in the app and by email.

  • Write to support from any screen. The bubble in the corner opens a conversation, keeps what you have typed if a send fails, and leaves the page behind it usable.
  • When support answers, a dot appears on the bubble, and the answer is emailed to you with a link that opens that conversation, even after it has been closed.

Capture forms open beside your list now, and the person who sent you a job can be linked as you create it.

The people who can open doors get their own home in Job Seeker OS.

  • A Network section: keep the people who can open a door for you in one place, whether or not there is a vacancy today.
  • Every person has a page: contact details you can edit in place (email, LinkedIn, phone, Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber), notes, and the full history of what was said.
  • Log a touch in seconds: the date, the channel, who wrote, and the full message text when there is one. A summary is optional.
  • The Reach out today queue tells you who is due, why, and what you promised. Snooze a week when the timing is wrong.
  • Link a person to an opportunity from either side, and see who brought you each one.
  • Draft a message that picks up where your last conversation left off.
  • Already keep your contacts in a spreadsheet? Import them from a CSV with a preview before anything lands.
  • Setup progress now shows in the header until onboarding is complete; one click takes you back to finish.

One dropdown for how an application ends

The separate Outcome dropdown is gone. Where a deal stands and how it ended are now the same choice.

  • How an application ended now lives in the same Status dropdown as everything else. Pick Offer, Rejected or Went cold, and the card moves to Outcome for you.
  • Dragging a card onto Outcome asks which ending applies, so a card never lands there without saying what happened.
  • Withdrawn and Ghosted are now a single ending called Went cold, since both described the same thing: the deal went stale without a decision.

  • A card that fails to move now returns to where it was, instead of looking like the move worked.

  • Application pages carry a breadcrumb toolbar, so you can see where you are and get back in one click.
